Shri Suman Bery is currently Vice-Chairperson, NITI Aayog. Arvind Panagariya served as the first vice-chairman of the government of India's think-tank NITI Aayog between January 2015 and August 2017. He was previously Chief Economist at the Asian Development Bank. Shri Suman Bery is currently Vice Chairperson, NITI Aayog, in the rank and status of a Cabinet Minister. An experienced policy economist and research administrator, Shri Bery took over as NITI Aayog Vice Chairperson from 1 May 2022.
