Fahadh Faasil made a cameo appearance in the film, which emerged as an average grosser at the box office. Bougainvillea has now had its OTT release on popular streaming platform, Sony LIV. Starting December 13, Bougainvillea will be accessible on SonyLIV. The OTT platform made the announcement via social media, confirming that the film will be available in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.
