It conducts competitive examinations every year for admissions in various professional courses of Medical, Engineering and Agricultural streams in the Institutions of the state of Bihar. Selection CommitteeThe Selection Committee, Directorate of Medical Education and Research is authority to make admissions for All Medical, Dental & Paramedical courses in Gover nment Colleges and Government Quota seats in Self Financing Colleges. It functions under the control of Director of Medical Education and Research as a chairperson and the Secretary in the cadre of Additional Director of Medical Education to look after its activities exclusively.
