By providing necessary details, farmers can apply to receive financial support from the government, aimed at ensuring their economic stability and encouraging agricultural productivity. Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) is a central sector scheme of the Government of India launched by the honourable Prime Minister on February 2019 and implemented with effect from December 1, 2018. Farmers are requested to check their eligibility status on Know Your Status (KYS) of PM KISAN website/ mobile app or Kisan eMitra chatbot for further details. PM Kisan is a Central Sector scheme with 100% funding from Government of India. It has become operational from 1.12.2018.
