Jeevan pramaan: Is a biometric enabled

Jeevan Pramaan is a biometric enabled digital service for pensioners. Pensioners of Central Government, State Government or any other Government organization can take benefit of this facility. Jeevan Pramaan is a scheme that allows pensioners to use Aadhaar authentication for life certificates. NIELIT provides biometric devices and software for enrolment and verification of pensioners across India. Jeevan Pramaan Jeevan Pramaan – Digital Life Certificate is a biometric- enabled, Aadhaar authentication based system. Jeevan Pramaan is created based on the self declared information along with Aadhaar authentication. Launched by Hon. PM Shri. Narendra Modi ji, on 10th Nov 2014, Digital Life Certificate for Pensioners Scheme of the Government of India, known as the Jeevan Pramaan (JP) seeks to address this very problem by digitizing the whole process of securing the life certificate .
