Baruka was in the same position and was stronger than Jin Woo, but he wasn't able to extract the shadow. I know that the strength of the shadow and the time a monster has been dead influence the chances of a successful extraction, but what else? Really feel like Baruka should've been in the squad. Igris at this point is much much stronger than SJW and was actually lamenting the fact that SJW was chosen by the Architect (the double dungeon god) hence he was giving him that hardcore beating. Pre-Resurrection Beru stomps. Post-Resurrection is a different story, however. Igris ' full power was sealed off until Jinwoo truly awakened as the Shadow Monarch. The Frost Monarch was far more fearful of Igris than he was of Beru, and Igris was stated to be one of the "Wings" of the Shadow Army, being placed on a pedestal (much like Bellion).
