Cilostazol is a phosphodiesterase 3 inhibitor that helps improve symptoms of peripheral vascular disease and prevents stroke. It is taken by mouth and may cause side effects such as headache, diarrhea, and low blood cells. Cilostazol is a quinolinone derivative and antiplatelet agent with vasodilating properties that has been used in the symptomatic treatment of intermittent claudication in patients with peripheral ischaemia.
