The mother of Boeing Starliner astronaut Sunita Williams, Bonnie Pandya , said she is unconcerned about her daughter’s delay in return to Earth from space. She said that both her daughter and Butch Wilmore are busy at the International Space Station and have jobs to do. Bonnie Pandya expressed her pride and understanding for her daughter's extended stay aboard the International Space Station due to technical issues. She dismissed the political speculation and said that space is safe and astronauts are doing what they love.
