Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana was launched by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on May 1st, 2016 in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh. Under this scheme, more than 5 Cr LPG connections has already been provided to BPL families as per latest estimates .The Scheme provides a financial support of Rs 1600 for each LPG connection to the BPL households.
