Rohan Mirchandani (15 March 1982 – 21 December 2024) was an Indian businessman. He was the co-founder and CEO of Epigamia. Epigamia was renowned for being a leading Greek yogurt brand in India. He was known for his innovative creative and visionary thinking. Mirchandani ’s passing follows other significant losses in India’s startup ecosystem, including Pepperfry co-founder Ambareesh Murty and Good Capital’s Rohan Malhotra. Mirchandani was known for his innovative mindset and often shared his “eureka moment" during a business school lecture in Mumbai, which led him to address the lack of innovation in India’s FMCG sector. His ambitious vision for Epigamia included scaling its revenue to ₹250 crore in FY25 and expanding into quick commerce. Rohan Mirchandani , the co-founder and CEO of Epigamia, passed away at 42 due to a cardiac arrest on December 21. A visionary entrepreneur, Mirchandani graduated from NYU Stern and The Wharton School before founding Drums Food International in 2013.
