PM - Kisan ( PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana) is a Central Government scheme, offering financial assistance to farmers. Under this scheme, the government provides ₹6,000 per year to farmers to help them purchase agricultural products and reduce their dependency on informal credit sources.
