Chandrayaan-3 is a follow-on mission to Chandrayaan-2 to demonstrate end-to-end capability in safe landing and roving on the lunar surface. It consisted of a Lander, Rover and Propulsion module to carry the landing module till 100km lunar orbit. Chandrayaan-3 is India's third lunar mission, launched with its lander, Vikram, rover and Pragya with the objective of landing near the South Pole region of the Moon.
