Bipin rawat son: Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin

Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat died in a Mi-17 V5 helicopter crash on December 8, 2021. A total of 12 people died in the crash, including General Rawat's wife, Madhulika Rawat. He served as the first Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) of the Indian Armed Forces from January 2020 until his death in a helicopter crash in December 2021. Chief of Defence Staff Gen Bipin Rawat, his wife and 11 others died after the Mi-17V5 helicopter crashed in the southern state of Tamil Nadu. Recently, the Minister of Defence of India unveiled a life-size statue of the late General Bipin Rawat (1958-2021), the country's first Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), at TonsBridge School, Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
